I approach anxiety from a cognitive behavioral perspective (CBT) as this is the method of treatment that has been proven to be the most effective. I have had a lot of success with clients utilizing CBT to treat anxiety and panic attacks. I engage in a collaborative effort with you where we will analyze and pick apart your anxiety to help you regain control of your thoughts and utilize coping skills to reduce your anxiety. Mindfulness techniques are frequently utilized as they are very simple and effective. Anxiety can often feel like a runaway freight train and the methods I employ will help you regain control of your life so the anxiety is no longer controlling you.
